Feeding Centers

 

Manos Extendidas (Extended Hands) has two feeding centers on hillside neighbourhoods on the outskirts of the city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Throughout the week, the feeding centers serve as a preschool to approx. 40 - 60 children, aged 3-5 years old. On Saturdays, they run a program at both centers whereby they provide a meal for approx. 300 children up to the age of 14 years old. This may be the only meal that these children will get to eat that day.
